Comments: Dr Papandrea is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. After seeing 2 other orthopedic providers he was the only one that actually listened. Although, pointed out the pain to both previous doctors, 2 injections later I was fortunate to see Dr Papandrea (7-8-15)and he listened and after examination he immediately knew what was wrong. I was experiencing sternoclavicular joint pain. He recommended a injection and although a very critical area he is highly skilled doctor that was able to complete the injection while I sat in a chair. Note a previous injection that another provider recommended had to be done under a X-ray machine (due to critical area) and it was EXTREMELY and tearfully painful. Dr Papandrea explained what to expect with the injection that he administered and it was a mere stick that I felt. I was amazed and continue to see him, first it was every 3 months then ended up to be every 6 weeks. He stated he would give me the injections as long as I wanted however, surgery may be the answer eventually. Well aprox. 1 1/2 years later the injections were no longer working and I needed surgery. The recovery was long however the results outstanding!!!! I thank Dr Papandrea for his skill and patience as he gave me my life back!!!!! His administratuve assistance (Deanna)was outstanding and always able to get me in for a quick injection with minimal waiting time. The team at Orthopedic Assiciates of Wisconsin are EXCEPTIONAL. I have recommended Dr Papandrea to many and will continue to do so!!!!
