Comments: It is a full year since my full shoulder replacement. Today I swam a half mile, which included the freestyle and backstroke. I am most grateful to Dr. Papandrea for his excellent surgical skill and to Sue from Body Mechanics for the functional manual therapy that helped me gain range of motion. I did need a pain pump, which made all the difference surviving the first five days after surgery. My only regret, that I didn't have surgery sooner. I highly recommend this doctor for shoulder surgery.
